The Indian government introduced udyam Registration, a new MSME registration platform, on July 1, 2021. The Udyog Aadhar/MSME Registration portal was previously called that. The registration process was implemented to make doing business easier. Micro, Small, and Medium Businesses (MSMBs) are businesses that create, process, maintain, or provide services on a small scale.
Our udyam registration page has all the information you need about the registration process. You can register on our website, where you can find the udyam registration form as well as a variety of payment choices for your application. For any type of registration or payment transaction, our site is entirely safe and secure. Only once you have completed the application form and made a successful payment will you be eligible for an udyam registration certificate. The certificate you will receive will be issued by the Ministry of MSME (Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises) and will be valid for a lifetime.

The UDYAM registration process for new MSME’s is broken down into steps:
MSMEs are defined formally in terms of capital investment in plant and machinery. However, because authorities did not have easy access to credible and exact data of investments, this criterion for definition was long disputed. As a result, the Union Cabinet decided in February 2018 to amend the criterion to “year turnover,” which was more in line with the implementation of GST.
With effect from July 1, 2021, the Central Government has published specific criteria for classifying enterprises as micro, small, and medium enterprises, as well as the form and procedure for filing the memorandum (Udyam Registration), based on the recommendations of the Advisory Committee.
Anyone who wants to start a micro, small, or medium business can use the Udyam Registration platform to complete a self-declaration Udyam Registration. There are no expenses associated with registering for Udyam. In order to register for Udyam, the proprietor, partner, promoter, director, or Karta must have a valid aadhaar number.
MSME registration is completely free, requires no paperwork, and is based on self-declaration
- The MSME registration procedure is purely electronic, with no paper involved, and is based on self-declaration.
- For registering an MSME, no paperwork or proof are required to be uploaded.
- For registration, only your Aadhaar number would be enough.
- PAN and GST-related data on business investment and turnover would be retrieved automatically from government databases.
- The Income Tax and GSTIN systems will be fully integrated with our online system.
- Those with an EM-II or UAM registration, or any other registration issued by a Ministry of MSME authority, will need to re-register.
- There may be no more than one Udyam Registration per business. In one Registration, however, any number of activities, including production, service, or both, may be stated or added.
